| The bi-annual Journal of European Studies was launched in 1985 and
since then it has been regularly published. To-date 28 issues of the
journal have been published.
The Centre invites well-known writers from within and outside the
country to contribute articles for the journal. It also encourages
faculty members of the Karachi University, specially from the Departments
of English, Philosophy, Political Science, International Relations,
General History and Mass Communications to contribute articles to
the journal.
Since 1994, special efforts have been made to improve the intellectual
standard of the journal and also to improve the layout and printing.
The high quality of the journal is acknowledged internationally,
for the prestigious Political Science Abstracts, Paris, has on many
occasions published abstracts from articles printed in the Journal
of European Studies.
